One-on-one Lesson Style
At OneUP we offer one-on-one lessons to our clients.
We believe that this style provides our clients with individual attention and allows us to focus on their personal targets, goals, strengths and areas to improve. It also creates a more relaxed atmosphere for our clients where they can feel comfortable speaking about a variety of topics with their instructor. This in turn makes it possible for us to maximize our clients’ output time and offer them the opportunity to speak as much as they can in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Order Made Curriculum
We truly care about our clients’ improvement and this is why we design a tailor-made curriculum to suit each client.
We have a variety of materials that are made in-house to suit our clients’ needs. The clients, in conjunction with our Japanese staff, will choose the types of material that best suits their learning preferences, while taking into account our instructors’ recommendations, and will create a lesson plan using the material chosen.
Clients also sometimes come with their own types of material or requests, such as reading and discussing current events articles, presentation practice, or drafting letters they wish to send to friends overseas. It is both interesting and exciting to be given the chance to teach English for such a wide range of situations.
