If you could live in an already established fictional world, which one would it be and why?

The tricky thing about living in an established fictional world is that a lot of fictional worlds seem very dangerous. Fictional worlds tend to be filled with monsters and enemies that you have to fight. That said, one fictional world that might be nice to live in is the Federation in the Star Trek universe.

The Star Trek franchise includes several TV shows and movies and takes place in the future. In the TV show there are, of course, space battles, fights and many dangerous obstacles, but, overall, life in the Federation is quite peaceful if you are not in the military.

The Federation of Planets is the government of many planets with many aliens including humans. The members of all the planets joined together with shared values and for protection. In the shows and movies, it is shown that life in the Federation is very good.

Hunger and poverty do not exist in the Federation. Basically, everybody gets what they need to live and survive. Honestly, this part is slightly unrealistic and, on top of that, there is no money and people just work because they want to. However, it is one of the reasons it would be great to live in the Star Trek universe.

The Federation has some amazing technology. The replicator is a machine which can create any material. You can have any dish you want simply by asking the replicator for it. It can also make clothes or other items. On top of that, you don’t even have to wash them afterwards. You just put them back in the replicator and they are broken back down to their component parts. You can have a 10-course meal for free and don’t have to clean anything up!

What’s more fun are the holodecks. The holodecks create fantasy worlds using realistic holograms. They are like videogames but more realistic, but still just as safe. If you lived in the Star Trek universe you could experience many other fantasy worlds but without the danger of going to real places.

On top of that, medical technology has greatly improved so a lot of illnesses like cancer, heart disease and other ailments have been completely cured. Most people can live a long and healthy life, free of many of the ailments that hurt people today.

Of course, the universe isn’t completely safe. The Federation sometimes goes to war with other aliens such as the Romulans or the Borg. In these situations, some people die and there is a lot of fighting. It is important to remember that the show is about the Federation’s military, called Starfleet. The lives of the people in Starfleet are more dangerous than the lives of normal Federation citizens. For a normal citizen, life would be quite utopian, with little violence or fear.

I think I would like to live in the fictional Universe of Star Trek because it would be the best place to live a full, comfortable life. It might not be as exciting as living in a universe with zombies attacking you, but it would be the best world to live a nice life.
